Wapiki is a classifieds marketplace (real estate, products, vehicles) operating in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, Guinea). For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at support@wapiki.com.
— Account information: name, email address, phone number, account type (individual or business). — Location: city and neighborhood provided to post or search listings; with your permission, your device's precise location to show the listings nearest to you. — Photos: access to the camera and photo library, solely to illustrate your listings. — Messages: exchanges between buyers and sellers via the built-in messaging system. — Mobile money payment information: when you pay for a product order or delivery fees, you provide us with the Orange Money / Moov Money / Wave number used for the transaction. This number is never processed by a payment module integrated into the app; it is used only to manually verify receipt of payment.
— Connect buyers and sellers, display and surface relevant listings. — Verify payments and confirm orders and deliveries. — Send you notifications related to your account, your listings, or your orders. — Prevent fraud and abuse (fake listings, fraudulent accounts). — Respond to your requests to customer support.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. It may be shared only with: partner couriers (name, phone, address) for the execution of an ongoing delivery; our moderation/support team for manual verification of payments and listings; competent authorities where required by law.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time by writing to support@wapiki.com; deletion is carried out within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (e.g. transaction history).
Wapiki is intended for adults (18 and older) or persons legally capable of entering into contracts in their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect data concerning minors.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (password encryption, restricted access to data, secure connections) to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
